Video Copies of Gavel to Gavel Alaska Coverage
As a service to our viewers, many of the programs we produce for Gavel to Gavel Alaska can be purchased on DVD. Copies are subject to availability. Not all legislative meetings are recorded, and KTOO normally retains the video recordings for only two weeks.
The video and audio signals of KTOO (Capital Community Broadcasting, Inc. – CCBI) are protected by U.S. copyright and international treaties and may not be copied without the express permission of CCBI, which reserves all rights. Re-use of any of CCBI’s content for any purpose may be granted on a case-by-case basis provided the content is not modified in any way, all copyright and other notices on any copy are retained, and permission is granted by CCBI. Re-use of any of CCBI’s content for any commercial or political purpose is strictly prohibited.
CCBI grants to educators free and unlimited use of its signal and the rights to retain recordings in perpetuity as long as such use is for instructional purposes.
CCBI will sell DVD copies of its programming to the general public, sponsoring organizations of televised events, and educators. No commercial or political use of this material will be allowed. DVD copies will be made available only after the original programming, whether live or recorded, has been televised.
Unless otherwise noted, Gavel to Gavel Alaska programs cost $40 for the first hour, or portion thereof, and $20 for each additional hour, or portion thereof — each meeting or event constitutes a program. Alaska Supreme Court Oral Arguments are available for $40 each.
We may be able to provide discounts for large orders or for multiple copies of the same program. Contact us for details.
CCBI will invoice schools, libraries, state agencies and Legislative offices. Otherwise, payment in full will be due when the tape is picked up at the KTOO studios, 360 Egan Drive, Juneau. For orders requiring shipping or mailing, payment must be made when the order is placed; a shipping/handling fee also applies.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms of the copyright usage agreement.
Orders should specify the name of the program or meeting, the exact date and time of the broadcast, committee meeting or floor session, and, if applicable, the speaker(s) and topic(s).
Often, orders can be filled within one week; however, we do not guarantee a one week completion date.
